The Bob Considine Award
The Bob Considine Award was instituted in 1978 at the behest of Mr. Douglass Edwards, CBS newscaster, and others, to commemorate the high moral and ethical ideals and the extraordinary journalistic contributions of Bob Considine, who died in 1975. The award is sponsored by The Bob Considine Center at St. Bonaventure University, established in 1976 under the guidance of Mr. John Charles Daly with resources provided by the William Randolph Hearst Foundation and other donors.
